I don't shop here often. If I do go in, it's for something specific. The short, older woman that works the self check out is always in a foul mood. She "helps", kinda. Today was the last straw though. I don't know why Safeway is hell bent on making sale prices so confusing with so many steps to get. You either want people to have the sale, or you don't. There was a sign when I walked in for 3.99 a pound cherries. Max 10 pound purchase. That's all that was on the sign. When it rang up for 5.99 a pound, I was confused, and asked the lady at the self checkout. She said it was a digital coupon. When I said, "Oh, okay, there wasn't anything but the 3.99 on the sign. But, okay." I wasn't mean. I was annoyed, but I wasn't mean or nasty. As I was walking away she yelled, "Read the rest of it." I yelled back, "There's nothing else on the sign. Right there 3.99 a pound. No reason for the attitude!" I called the store later to tell them that the sign didn't give all the info. My income takes a hit when I expect $4 but am charged $12!! The person I spoke with on the phone didn't identify herself but said she'd look at the sign. She sounded annoyed and the call ended abruptly. She said she'd lo

I give 1 star because that’s the lowest. I would like to give a 0. Manager is the worst person I have ever seen. Their promotions are fake. Not the first time but every single time. Be careful when u see their selling product. Prices are fake! Count carefully before you checkout! I will never come back! I never have bad shopping experience in Greeley! This store gave me 4times in 1 month! Hope Safeway are closing down soon!

Went to the fresh seafood section needing crab legs. I pushed the bell asking for service twice and there was nobody there. So I went and found an employee saying I needed help and I was told oh theres no one to help you were short staffed. They couldn't radio or call someone to assist me or at least try to find someone so I went ahead and helped myself weighing out the crab legs so I know how much to pay and a manager came barreling down to the counter asking if I needed assistance. I said yes I asked and told there wasnt any and that I just needed my crab legs. Told her I didn't touch anything else. There wasn't a "employees only" sign but she aggressively said I needed to leave the store. Why would you ask me if I needed assistance if you're just going to kick me out very rudely. I just wanted my crab legs. I have tattoos and I feel that I was being discriminated against because I wanted my crab legs. Do not recommend this safeway.

Austin in the Deli is always extremely accommodating, helpful and friendly. Even if the Deli is about to close Austin has gotten us what we needed. Safeway is lucky to have such a valuable asset that makes customers like my family want to shop there.

First the good. The vegetables produce at Safeway are great. Good quality and variety. In general I like Safeway. Now, as for this location. I found the staff to be rude and not friendly. I have come here for some time and the cashiers especially, the self check out lady to be extremely rude. Once I had a 30 pack of ramion noodles, I asked for help ringing them up at self checkout and was told she can't help with that and to ring them up one by one. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. I reported it to the manager and she was unconcerned and was rude as well. After that I stopped coming to Safeway for several months and gave my money to Sam club. I started coming to this location again because of the good produce and the staff is the same. Rude and not freindly. I am sure I am not the only customer they have chased away due to the unfriendly staff.
